Sustainable tourism, eco-tourism, environmentally responsible travel, whatever we call it, is a huge topic and one which is of major concern to all of us. It goes without saying therefore that we could not operate and develop this website in isolation. We are forging relationships with different organisations and companies around the globe, who are also committed to developing the Greenstop.Net aims: - to simplify the myths surrounding environmental certification and accreditation
- to inform the travelling public about the work going on, frequently behind the scenes, in the Travel and Tourism industry.

Environmentally aware companies can now start helping conservation, education and environmental projects immediately on signing up with Greenstop.Net, thanks to a partnership with Eye on the Wild, a charity that directs its actions to the global areas of environmental concern caused by tourism. Just exploring the Best Loved Hotels website and reading the Best Loved Hotels Guide for England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland is a holiday in itself. You will find a vast selection of places to stay to suit every pocket and a wealth of information to help you prepare your holiday, business trip or weekend, including restaurants, conference facilities and local events.
Greenstop.Net is delighted that Best Loved Hotels is promoting environmental awareness to its hotels and will be working on this project with us. We recently established in a market research survey of Best Loved Hotels members that many of the hotels already qualify for a minimum of one greenstop: an indication of the Best Loved Hotels' high standards. Visit our England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales pages to find some of the Best Loved Hotels already featured.
